Day Two: Bella Y Tour Ft. Lauderdale, Volunteer Day
ByWe started the day at the Stonewall Library and Archives. Half of us (not me!) worked outside and the rest of us worked on shifting and shelving books. Though Karin suggested there was some slackage on on my part. This from her facebook page…

Amy slacks off while everyone else works shifting books to make room for more. (Caption supplied by K. Kallmaker)

This photograph refutes such a notion:

It was a fun day at Stonewall — they have a great group of staff and volunteers. And I got a few photos with some of my favorite authors. I was thrilled to have a picture with my much esteemed editor, Katherine V. Forrest.

And Dillon Watson.

And Karin Kallmaker.

Not sure how I missed one with KG but I know she was outside doing hard labor. Then there was this funny picture of Katherine and me — this was the first conversation I had with her and I was a little nervous. Little did I know we were surrounded by naked men!

After a yummy lunch of oysters and blackened chicken at the Shuck N Dive (it was so good we went back the next day after the reading), it was finally time to take in the beach.

And later I took a peek at the book…

Tomorrow I’ll be posting a video of the reading. Goodnight!
These are great. Thanks for uploading!
I love ALL the pictures, Amy. Thank You so much for sharing them with us.
Thanks, Michele and Towanda! It’s nice to have them here all in one place — especially with my bad memory!
