Scapegoat Sneak Peak
Posted by: | CommentsI should have had this up eons ago, but here’s an excerpt from Scapegoat, the second Rennie Vogel Intrigue. Hope you enjoy it!
Phew! The new book is officially finished!
Posted by: | CommentsOr mostly officially — just waiting on the final proof and Scapegoat, the Miles to Go sequel, is on track for its December 20 release. Here are some links if you’re interested in pre-ordering.
And yes! The (unplanned) blogging sabbatical is over! I have to admit I was tempted to back date this blog post but I figured that was cheating. So I am owning up to not blogging for many months. I loads of catching up to do. I have pictures from the Busboys & Poets reading in May. I have GCLS pictures from June. When I have a moment, I’ll be getting these up.
Thanks to all my friends on Facebook and elsewhere who have been so patient with me this past year while I’ve been working on this book. I have to admit, it’s been stressful. I had a lot on my plate generally and to add on top of everything else a deadline for my second novel was, well, challenging. But I’ve learned a lot and have a better sense of how I will approach things next time round.
Coming (very) soon — a Scapegoat sneak peak.
Reading in D.C. this Sunday at Busboys & Poets, 4pm
Posted by: | CommentsI’m so excited to be doing a reading close to home this weekend. Even better, a few of my friends are going to be able to come. I’ll be doing short readings from Miles To Go and from the sequel, Scapegoat, which is due out December 20, 2011. Lisa Gitlin, writer of the acclaimed I Came Out For This, and Fay Jacobs, who writes hilarious essays about her life in Rehoboth, will also be reading. I did a reading with Fay last year in Rehoboth and she is very funny — great New York accent too. It will be a fun afternoon, so come on by!

Come visit at the Rainbow Book Fair in New York
Posted by: | CommentsI’m so excited to be in New York this weekend. It’s been a few years since I’ve been up and unfortunately, due to my deadline, I’m not going to be able to stay as long as I’d intended. BUT, most importantly, I’m there, along with Nat Burns and Jan Donley, for the Rainbow Book Fair in Greenwich Village. Lots of authors and readings and presentations and panels. We’ll be there from 11-5. Click on the link below for more information and the address and such. Hope to see you there!
